O título de "Lichia Campeã" foi atribuído a uma árvore de lichia de 38 anos da aldeia de Xiniubei, e os seus 50 quilos de direito de colheita foram vendidos pelo elevado preço de 22,222 yuan. A lichia é um fruto tradicional de Dalang. Desde o final da dinastia Song e o início da dinastia Yuan, a área histórica de plantação atingiu os 40,000 hectares e atualmente tem cerca de 10,000 hectares, estando a plantação mais distribuída ao nível das aldeias (comunidades) de rinoceronte, rinoceronte, rinoceronte, pinheiro e outras, incluindo ao nível da aldeia e com cerca de dois mil pés de lichia, com mais de 300 anos de idade.

6月25日，东莞市大朗镇举办“荔王”品鉴拍卖会，所得4万元全部交予大朗镇慈善会用于公益慈善事业。其中，来自犀牛陂村乡品农业38年树龄的香糯获得“状元荔”称号，50公斤的采摘权被22222元高价拍下。据了解，荔枝是大朗的传统水果，自宋末元初就开始栽植，历史种植面积最多时达4万亩，目前也有近万亩，种植最多的分布在水平、犀牛陂、松柏朗等村（社区），其中水平村还有近两千棵荔枝老树，树龄最长超300年。
