Na noite de 28 de Abril, a ópera cantonense Princesa Wencheng foi encenada no Grande Teatro Hung Sin Nui, em Guangzhou. Baseia-se no momento histórico em que a Princesa Wencheng da dinastia Tang casou com o Rei Songtsan Gambo do Império Tibetano em 641 d.C. Durante os seus 40 anos de permanência no Tibete, a Princesa Wencheng promoveu a prosperidade e o desenvolvimento da região, contribuindo para o estabelecimento de laços de amizade entre os povos Han e Tibetano. O magnífico espaço estético e o estilo de palco resplandecente da ópera permitiram que o público tivesse um vislumbre da dinastia Tang. On the evening of April 28, the Cantonese opera Princess Wenchengwas staged at the Hung Sin Nui Grand Theater in Guangzhou. It is based on the historical moment when Princess Wencheng of the Tang dynasty married King Songtsan Gambo of the Tibetan Empire in 641 A.D. During her 40 years of stay in Tibet, Princess Wencheng promoted the prosperity and development of the region, contributing to forging friendly ties between the Han and Tibetan people.
