O período de floração das árvores estende-se geralmente de abril a maio, e o mesmo acontece no período de observação. Na primavera, a temperatura em Guangzhou é ligeiramente mais alta do que outros lugares, portanto, as árvores sem dor naquela região florescem também mais cedo.

In March, the sorrowless trees (Saraca dives Pierre) on the streets of Guangzhou have come into bud, and the orange flowers amid the green leaves are shining like small flames in spring.

The flowering period of sorrowless trees generally extends from April to May and so does the viewing period. In spring, the temperature in Guangzhou is slightly higher than in other places, helping many sorrowless trees bloom earlier.

踏进三月，广州街头无忧树已开出一团团花蕾，绿叶中的橙黄色无忧花，犹如一团团小火焰在春天闪耀。

无忧树的花期一般在4-5月，观赏期约有一个月。而广州春天气温稍高，不少无忧树会提前吐艳。
