O oitavo mês do calendário lunar chinês é a época do peixe e do camarão. Milhões de barcos de pesca competem para zarpar para o Mar do Sul da China e trazer de volta uma cabine cheia de camarão e caranguejo. No sudoeste de Guangdong, existe um porto de pesca com uma história de milhares de anos - o Porto de Pesca de Bohe, em Dianbai, Maoming. O porto é rico em lagostas, camarões e pepinos-do-mar. É o maior porto de pesca de Guangdong e um dos dez maiores portos de pesca da China. O património cultural da Rota Marítima da Seda tornou o porto famoso. Com um longo sopro do apito a vapor, um novo navio gigante está prestes a rebentar as ondas e a navegar para o mar.

The eighth month of the Chinese lunar calendar is the season of fish and shrimp. Millions of fishing boats compete to set sail to the South China Sea to bring back a cabin full of shrimp and crab. In the southwest of Guangdong, there is a fishing port with a history of thousands of years – the Bohe Fishing Port in Dianbai, Maoming. The port is rich in lobsters, prawns, sea cucumbers. It is the largest fishing port in Guangdong and one of the top ten fishing ports in China. The cultural heritage of the Maritime Silk Road has made the port famous. With a long blast of the steam whistle, a new giant ship is about to split the waves and sail to the sea.

农历八月正是鱼肥虾美的季节，南海千万艘渔船竞发出海，带回满舱虾蟹。在广东西南部有一座千年渔港——茂名电白博贺渔港，此处盛产龙虾、对虾、海参、鲈鱼、膏蟹等，是广东省最大渔港、全国十大渔港之一。海上丝绸的人文让博贺港声名大噪，随着汽笛一声长鸣，新的巨轮正劈开波澜，驶往海洋。
