No dia 16 de junho, realizou-se a cerimónia de lançamento do Carnaval Cultural do Barco-Dragão Kau Dobrado de Guangdong Foshan 2023. Quando o "Dragão Voador" encontra as pistas de corrida em forma de "L" ou "S" na aldeia, os timoneiros na proa e na popa de barco introduzem os raiosna água para ajustar com precisão a direção do barco-dragão, criando um efeito visual de deriva e uma cena emocionante, especialmente nas curvas apertadas.

Com os laços do barco-dragão, muitos chineses ultramarinos que deixaram Diejiao regressam para o Festival do Barco-Dragão. Tal como a antiga figueira-de-bengala à entrada da aldeia, com as suas fortes raízes a sustentar o seu crescimento, o festival expande-se, forma novos ramos e prospera.

6月16日，2023年广东佛山叠滘龙船文化嘉年华启动仪式举行。“叠滘飞龙”遇到村中L形湾、C形湾等地形时，船头船尾的舵手们将桡插入水中，精准调整着龙船的方向，形成漂移的视觉效果。遇到急弯时，有时甚至会出现“一鼓转三湾”的惊险场面。

有着龙船的牵绊，许多从叠滘走出去的归侨，端午节是一定要回来的。正如村头下的古榕，在粗壮的根系支撑下，枝干生长，树须绵长，树须落到地上，又形成新的枝干，支撑着老树上嫩叶生长，繁衍生息。
